Beyond the Dark is an epic modern horror webcomic where several monsters and other entities are drawn to a small island north of Cape Cod Massachusetts called Haven.

Haven

Haven has always been a place of strangeness even before its official founding in 1727.  The Natives referred to it as “The Land of Dark Entities” and avoided it, comparing the place to the Hockomock Swamp of the South Shore.  The pirates that first named and settled the island never stayed there long, but did pass on stories of strange happenings in and around the island.  To this day even with all the strangeness, the disappearances, the murders, and the tourists, the island still supports just over 2000 people.  Soon it will experience a slight population decrease.

The Creator

Joe McGlone has been working in and out of webcomics for about 10 years working on series such as Heroic Space Adventures and Sushi the Karate Kat.   Joe also creates the print comic Leaves of Yggdrassil.
